Melissa was chosen to be the new live feed correspondents during the course of Big Brother: Over the Top, declared as the winner of the "So You Think You Can Podcast" competition (see below). She first appeared in her official title as live feed correspondent on the postseason wrap-up of Over the Top.[2]

Melissa was one of the contenders in "So You Think You Can Podcast," a competition deemed to find the newest live feed correspondent out of a pool of contestants.
